Attack is a very strong word; I thought I was fairly constructive. My one criticism was pointing out that the definitions are being changed (with no notice) from thread to thread.
Here is an example of how you can set up the tiers:
Key | F Example | D Example | G example |
Legendary | McDavid | Orr | Roy |
Generational | Crosby | Makar | |
Franchise | Kopitar | E.Karlsson | Quick |
Elite | Pavelski | Vlasic | Nabokov |
1A/#1/Starter | Marleau | Boyle | Vernon |
1B/#2/1A | Couture | Ehrhoff | Mrazek |
2nd line/#3/1B | M.Sturm | Braun | Reimer |
3rd line/#4-5/Backup | Coyle | Ferraro | Stalock |
4th line /#6-7/3rd-string | Wingels | J.Ryan | Grosenick |
Journeyman | Gambrell | Joslin | Schaefer |
If you remove the Legendary and Generational tiers, that gives you 8. A little more compression and you can get 6:
Key | F Example | D Example | G example |
Franchise | Kopitar | E.Karlsson | Quick |
Elite | Pavelski | Vlasic | Nabokov |
Solid Top HOTL/Starter | Marleau/Hertl | Boyle/Ehrhoff | Vernon |
Middle HOTL/Tandem | M.Sturm/Coyle | Braun/Dillon | Mrazek/Reimer |
Bottom HOTL/Backup | Wingels/Smith | Huskins/J.Ryan | Stalock |
Journeyman | Gambrell | Joslin | Schaefer |
Maybe add another tier for boom/bust prospects and Bob's your uncle...
