That doesn't even get you a top 40 pick.

The trade proposal was awful, but my goodness is this take terrible. Even if Andersson completely implodes, he isn't a cap dump with one more season left.

The only basis for a deal from Calgary which would create any pause is one involving Parekh.
I doubt SJ or Calgary has any interest in giving up what they already have though.
That's just the plain reality.

Absolutely not. Andersson plus a any draft pick is not the value the Sharks need. He is not the piece to entice the Sharks to move the 2OA. That deal would need to start with Parekh and their 1st.

We’re already six years into being bad. Another four years won’t be a big deal when we’re just now starting to see young talent materialize. These deals don’t make any of that better.
