I'm wondering how come when were not logged in we can't do a search function? After the change we were able to and one day it went away. I also post on a non Hockey forum which has this exact same design and I have the option to search for topics or specific posters if I'm not logged in.
 
I like the migration but the new site sometimes brings my high end CPU to it's knees. I don't know what it's loading, but across 2 different browsers, it only happens on this site.

Turn off the ad blocker ?
 
when i run add blocker it blocks over 800 ads. there should not be that much.
 
FWIW,
In A good Xenforo theme, these minimized forums stay minimized when you return. You'd think a cookie for that setting would be allowed as the cookie count is in the 300s already.

The style has a number of responsive design flaws.
Pinch to zoom will likely fix your issue or refreshing the page.

yeah, there is a way around it. Click on your username in the top right handcorner and in that list it says alerts. If you didn't know that already, I just worked it out myself but it may be common knowledge. Still annoying though

I NEVER visit these boards on my mobile unless I'm under a wifi umbrella, as it is still a bandwidth hog.

Every page refresh or new forum page results in about 1 meg's worth of data...

That's ridiculous.

FWIW, I've volunteered to help HFBoards, but no one listens.
 
@S2S That's because of the domain name, so the hfboards subdomain isn't spared there. CraveOnline's mandatory menu includes a girls subsection that seems to be at the root of those work filter/block problems ever since the migration to this new domain.

@bansheebeat Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies (detailed how here) and then restart your browser. It could be something in your cache conflicting as the site's tweaked. A browser extension, like an ad-blocker, may also need refreshing and/or updating, so also try that.

Thanks, Woodhouse. Still doesn't fix the problem, unfortunately. I have to completely block Java on the site. This problem just started today.

I know they've been fiddling with tweet iframes recently so that they don't get cut-off for whichever users were still experiencing that. That's why most should see new white space following tweet embeds as the default height's now set at 500px. Send in a support ticket via Contact Us in the footer, as they'll know the latest.

I would like to add that I am having the exact same problems as bansheebeat. Anytime someone posts a tweet the page glitches out and I get an infinite scroll with nothing on the page. I am honestly getting pretty fed up with the constant B.S with the new set up. I want to stick around but it really seems as though they are doing as much as possible to push me off to....reddit. Ugh.

I am getting the same problem with the tweets, literally making any thread unreadable. Yesterday when the site loaded it also loaded onto a full-sized ad that could not be stopped until the entire thing was watched. Additionally I have to shrink the page down to 80% otherwise it is is way too zoomed in. Whole site is a mess.

Anyone else having a problem with twitter posts on google chrome? everytime a tweet is posted, I can't scroll past it
