Just saw this today. Coogler absolutely knocked it out of the park. Very impressed with the score.
Steinfeld and Jordan killed it

Honestly that sounds like a you thing.I just found out about this movie today. I will most likely see it in the next week.
Where was the advertising? You have the director of a billion dollar franchise and one of the most famous stars in the world and I haven't seen one billboard, one tv add, etc. meanwhile I'm getting flooded with Thunderbolts and all the summer films.
Nah I haven't seen a single thing about it until people started posting clips on IG reels.Honestly that sounds like a you thing.
I've been seeing a bunch of stuff about this movie for a few weeks now.
Pretty much since the day the review embargo lifted and it was at 100% its been all over the place.
Haven't seen it yet but plan to this week.
Read the poster below me. No billboards, no adds in paper,no posters, no adds on tv, nothing.Honestly that sounds like a you thing.

There's two post credits scenes, the middle one being about 10 minutes, I hear.First 75%, 9/10. Final ~25% 6/10. Felt like it fell apart off kicked off. Coogler had a similar issue with Black Panther imo. Great director except for action sequences.
Also, stay through the first part of the credits.
Saw it last weekend. Very creative take on the vampire subgenre. I do have one minor gripe though
The weird fake out death with Stack and Mary just seemed a bit...I can't think of a good word other than contrived but that doesn't really capture my point. They give Smoke this Django-esque ending with a sweet finish but a lot of what drives his reckless attack on the klans people is he's basically lost everyone he loves including his brother.
So Stack and Mary are spared and they leave the growing vampire I guess posse or coven and live freely as vampires...but how? They all seemed to operate as basically a hive mind. So how did Stack and Mary manage to break away without the rest of the vampires knowing? Why would they have wanted to? And the whole thing is based on a deal not to hurt preacher boy but they made it before they were done dealing with the rest of the vampires? Stacks death worked better as a tragic motivator to fuel Smoke forward. All this convoluted stuff just to give one of the brothers a sort of happy ending and to give Preacher Boy a an even happier ending than he already had?
I don't know, the movie as a whole was pretty well written but that ending left me scratching my head
