No joke, Analog TV was still a thing. Think the digital switch occurred in July of '09.

That reminded me that back in those days- they didn't even show every Canes game on TV. And only like 1 out of 3 was broadcast in high-def.

I have a relative who owns a winery. Whenever I visit, he takes me back and has me barrel taste a bunch of his wines out of oak barrels. One day, I saw him pouring gobs of sugar into a red wine to make an extremely sweet wine. When I asked him about it, his comment was: "This is the mortgage payer." So his other wines he spends time in french oak, and works to win medals, but the money maker is just pour a bunch of sugar into it because that's what people want and what pays the bills.

My guess is the PK's Cheapskate Pilsner would be the same.
