4\4 and 3\3 bring more skill into play. Women's Hockey should be a trend setter and go to 4\4 or 3\3 with two 25 minute halfs.
Canada scored over 10 goals against both Finland and Switzerland in women's Olympic hockey. I don't think lack of goals is an issue.
The less play along the boards, the better sport
Women's Hockey is. Board play involves far more
stationary or near stationary play. Given women's
lack of strength compared to men its a particular eye sore in game. Much rather watch actual skill then
players chopping at pucks or trying their best to disguise xchecks.
Honestly would rather watch 4 on 4 in Mens Hockey but with women board play is a
particular eye sore during a game. Try to make Women's hockey as much like hoop as possible.
What does this even mean?
If they could shrink the ice down and 3v3 meant more countries would be able to field a competitive roster i'd be for it. Womens hockey is probably the least competitive Olympic sport in history and could use some sort of a shake up.
Least competitive Olympic sport? The Summer games Basketball would like to have a word with you. You can literally count on one hand the times USA hasn't won gold.
Ha. Ha. Ha...Basketball is way more competitive internationally than women's hockey. It's not even remotely close.
