Rumor: Should the CBJ pursue Elias Pettersson?

I'd like to see us pursue someone like, but not necessarily, Petterson. Go big game hunting while trying to keep as much of this current roster intact as possible.

I don't think the trades yesterday mean that Vancouver is done, but there's got to be tremendous pressure on them to win a few of these four games remaining before the break and get back into playoff position. If that locker room continues to clash and they don't have some immediate success, there is going to be a few weeks of stewing on who else has to go, and Pettersson will be front and center in those discussions.

This is not shocking. As CoachWithNoTeam said above, the next 4 games are key. It's not so much the results (but those are always important,) but how they look as a unit, and they are in the locker room. Even if they go 0-4, if they look functional and there is no drama, I doubt he is traded. But if they go 4-0 and they look like a disaster inside the locker room, he may get moved. It's not an easy stretch of games but 2-2 or 3-1 should be doable.
