Absolute dog shit performance by Army If we dint trade anything. Price is high.
Sellers market and he does nothing. Unacceptable.

He is so desperate to not miss playoffs for a THIRD year in a row (He 100% deserves blame for these sad rosters) that he just gave away future assets we could have gotten just to keep aging vets, many on 1 year contracts with UFA soon, so they can "push" for the last welfare playoff spot so Winnipeg can bitch slap them in 4 or 5 games.

So what do you think he should have done? I don't want any of your bullshit of "trade Kyrou". I want to know who you would have traded him to and for what.

Before this season, the roster was not playoff caliber, most thought rebuild was still in process. But then, Army did the following things........
Masterstroke on the Broberg/Holloway deals
The trade for Fowler
The gutsy move in not hesitating to grab Montgomery

If we make the playoffs, Armstrong should be considered for the Jim Gregory Trophy as General Manager of the Year

The Broberg/Holloway move pays for the sin of not extending Pietrangelo.

From the end of one cup contending window to the beginning of another. Army found a way to make things right.

LOL still on the Petro thing while in complete denial that if he really wanted to re-sign with the Blues he would have..."but but but it's all Armstrong's fault!"

This was my initial response when I saw the mountain of movement and we made almost none. But then the team started actually playing better, looking better and last night were absolute killers.

Army knows things that we don't. It's clear he wants to leave ample room for his successor to make their own mark on the franchise and his witchboard, while it boggles and is bizzare and crazy, has brought home a Cup and a team that looks amped to rock without Colt and making a case for themselves.

After the TDL and the team's response, I have to reverse my decision and say that Army made the right call here. If we don't or do make the playoffs doesn't matter, what does is, has he left the team at this point and time better than it was and by leaving it alone and the coaches making changes, he has.

So kudos to the Army. And let's see if our Blue army can fk around and make the playoffs.

This is the way.
