So to recap you could put, a 3rd for Holloway and a 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and Paul Fischer for Broberg

Fair enough. Still doesn't change the fact that it's a fantastic move. Instead of it being highway robbery it's "just" a great trade.

Trade Joseph, send Kessel to Springfield - and keep playing Perunovich?

It's insane. The guy is too small and soft for the NHL. How much longer is this disaster going to continue.

He's been pretty good in my viewing, better than POJ and Kessel. If Kessel wants more ice time, then he needs to play better. He's been outplayed by Perunovich, it's as simple as that. And I'm not saying that Perunovich has been amazing or anything, but he's looked less out of place than Kessel on that 3rd pairing.

So I guess to answer your question, he'll be getting ice time for as long as someone else in the system can't outplay him. That or we trade Perunovich.
