The sad part is the only real 'Bourque memory' I have is my Dad waking me up when I was a kid because Bourque was about to win the Cup, lol. . .
For me it was like the Bruins won the Cup. I went to Ray Bourque Day. I will never acknowledge ownership of the Bruins. Mr Burns showed up even when they won the Cup making a joke to Neely that the Bruins just did what Neely could never do. What an out of touch owner.

I see. In that case, I vote for Milt Schmidt as the greatest Bruin of all time. But Bergeron would be up there somewhere near the top too.
Remember when Milt played they only played a 50 game schedule and he missed time for the war . The Bruins had so many great players , Orr being the greatest of all time followed by not in order Espo ,Neely, Middleton , Bucyk , Bourque , and others . The game is different today and the media coverage also when some these players played there was no sports center or very little of it for them . I have always liked Bergerons game and I do think he is a HOF ,but I also think the modern day fan gets a little carried away and to be fair they get flooded with the modern day media tendency to sensationalize players today...............
