Big win. This is the kind of comeback that can change the arc of a season and energize a team. We haven’t had one like it in a couple years. You gotta believe. Coming back from 2 down with four minutes left. Doesn’t happen often.

I just don't feel confident in this team with Dougie's defensive issues and Markstrom's inconsistency (in that order). They can play well but until Dougie stops being such a liability (I have 0 hope for this because he's never not been that), I'm just not confident.

He's been better than anyone could've expected. Elite shutdown D on an elite shutdown pair so far.

I’ll settle for him just being the same player he was offensively. Without his shot, the guy just isn’t that good.

Dougie has been not a liability for the majority of his career. It’s not ideal right now but he’ll round in to shape.

Weird coincidence that dougie just keeps happening to win his minutes on the ice. Surely just a coincidence.

But dougie is the scapegoat of this month. Last month was Jack. Next month I predict it'll be Timo.

Despite the comeback and win I did not like how we played at all. Mainly really poor coaching/preparation IMO.

Islanders entire team is built to win games along the boards. It was insane how often we were trying to dump it in on a rim and forecheck or rim it for a cycle in the ozone. 90% of the time the islanders were easily winning those pucks and breaking out.

They play an incredibly simple game and only way that islanders team is gonna win games is by teams not having skill or by skilled teams like us being too stupid. We should have been skating circles around them just by playing through our skating and skill and making plays. Game like that dumps should either be very strategic or an absolute last resort.

We willingly played their game for some reason and I can’t remember being this annoyed after a win before.
