My Easton shin pads are only about 10 years old. Still solid shin pads for the time being, rather not spend much money on buying new ones only because the only thing wrong with them is the velcro straps are loose.

The rubber inside the velcro straps are elongated and have made my shin pads very loose even at its tightest.

Anyone know what I can do to replace or fix these straps.

Fold them and stitch along. The strap will still be stretched, but the shorter playable length more than makes up for that.

You can also try grabbing a set of Shin-Tights. I got them for when I ref because my shinpads would move around some, even with the velcro strap tightened, and chafe the bottom of my thigh. With the Shin-Tights, my shinpads never budge, and they're much more comfortable to skate in.

if you don't want to hassle with the shin tights (imo they can be hard to pull up) you can also go with a simple set of shin straps. I like the T3k brand because they're made of neoprene not elastic like most straps and therefore last much, MUCH longer. there's pretty much only one place that sells them though:

pm me if you don't want to deal with them. we decided to hoard several months ago and I've got a whole box of these straps.
