The interesting part about that article is that her husband redid his trust seven times but never changed it to include her as the succeeding trustee/owner of the team. Also that one of the brothers is being voted upon by the other owners in the next week or so. MLB would never pursue this kind of vote unless it had legal standing to do so.

They’d absolutely do it if they had a vested interest in the outcome. They don’t care about the legality and never have. Wouldn’t surprise me that MLB secretly hopes the team relocates and is voting to help push that agenda.
