Meanwhile I'm in bed with the sniffles.

We often forget how tough and driven these guys are, and even among them there are exceptionally tough and driven players.
Risking his health like that doesn't make him more brave than anyone else. It just makes him value a chance at the cup over is health commendable amongst his peers.

Weber made victor mete and alex emelin look like top pairing guys

The guy was an idiot and should not have been allowed to play injured.

Absolutely toxic culture that stupid self-destructive behavior like this is idolized.
I think you may be interested in cheering for the Toronto maple leafs

Listening to 32 thoughts.

The players didn't even know how bad his injuries were. He got there way before anyone else for a game, or practice to get treatment and taped up to play/practice.

Crazy that his contract hasn't run out yet. Should have some value around the league to a bottom feeder trying to reach the floor if Utah ever wanted to trade that. $7.8 million in cap hit for a $1 million in cash.

Never made sense to me. You should get even more respect as a less talented team making it that far into the playoffs.

One of the more clueless takes you will find around here is when a "Cinderella" team makes a march to the Final and people call it a "fluke."

It is impossibly difficult to win three rounds in a playoff, because each round is such a gruelling battle and the wear and tear, injuries and difficulty level mount each round.

You might be able to "fluke" off winning a round. But the idea a team can win three rounds by a fluke is such a dumb take it requires someone that really doesn't understand hockey, and certainly playoff hockey to make the suggestion.

Almost every other injury can be made tolerable/hidden with painkillers, shots, taping etc. But groin injury is something that you really cannot hide. I don't understand they can play with f***ed up groin. You look like one legged deer on ice if you cannot extend your leg.
