I love the way he has been playing while he has been healthy for the Canucks. He is the type of player that a lot of teams regret trading away. His remarks after the game really show what type of person he is as well. Humble and thoughtful but wrecks havoc on the ice. Those are the kind of players that Canucks fans rally around. Hope he continues to grow as a player and that we extend him.

I was pretty pumped up when I realized he got the third goal. I honestly didn't think he was going to get it, even if the first two did come very early in the game. Pity Vrbata got the game winning goal, Matthias was the true hero of the game.
