Honest assessment? i think we are seeing yhe fruits of two norris winners on the same team and not having to carve out any important minutes for two other top d men.

Nothing better than beating up on the oilers. I hate that franchise. I feel for the fans, but so many first overalls and piss poor management equates to wasting some of McD's best years in the league. So frustrating. Nothing makes me dislike and not respect a team more than tanking/sucking for/lucking into high picks, ala Chicago, and the worst offender: Pittsburgh, etc.

I don't think they are hot, this is just them with enough minutes to push the game. Not many teams can withstand that tandem and the oilers definitely are not one of them
