Agreed. Let’s at least pick one that people like and doesn’t piss in a tray at the back door.
Worried about injuries, worried about Skinner being shit
After two straight months of 870 goaltending, the players probably feel the same way.I am feeling more confident with Skinner out, than with him fresh and in the net.....
I would choose healthy and rested over home ice advantage.Oilers need to go for home ice. It's so frustrating that they blew the division, home ice does matter in the playoffs. They have to win tonight and against the Kings on Saturday to have a shot, I think Rodrigue gets the Anaheim game if Skinner isn't back by then.
No.....more like 850 lolIs it seriously an 830 start
Yep. Ridiculous start time for a Thursday game.Is it seriously an 830 start
Get healthy and rested by clinching second place when you sweep the Kings.I would choose healthy and rested over home ice advantage.
No.....more like 850 lol
Hmmm so we face..
Non playoff team SJS
Playoff team LAK
Non playoff team ANA
Playoff team STL
Non playoff team SJS
And we are running our #2 and #3 goalies. This seems like a question for a child's homework. Which games would you use your #2 and which games would you use your #3?
They are seriously going to give Pickard five straight starts? Rest him for LA, its the obvious choice.
We'll probably still be in the hunt for 2nd place going into the last few games of the season. Don't think he'll risk it and just keep running Skinner/Pickard.I'm guessing Knob will be playing Rodrigue once the Oilers are mathematically in the playoffs. That kind of falls on the Anaheim game if the Oilers beat Kings and Sharks
Seeing what happened with vancouver last year they should be seeing what they have in rodrigue just in case. We'll probably still be in the hunt for 2nd place going into the last few games of the season. Don't think he'll risk it and just keep running Skinner/Pickard.
I agree. He's only 20 months younger than Skinner. At some point you have to test him in the NHL, unless he is no longer part of their plans.Lord. Give Rodrigue the start. It’s the Sharks we are facing here. He’s earned it, having toiled in the system as long as he has. It benefits the club to see what we have in these kids and it gives the youngsters, all of them, motivation that if they keep working they will get to be showcased.
