I feel like Halttunen needs to have that playing on his phone in a loop to show him how to succeed in the NHL. If he can play with that effort + his shot, he could be really good.

He’s starting to feel like that guy that Stanley Cup teams all have — the 4th liner who plays his role amazingly well and then goes out and scores an OT goal in a game 7.

These heroics eventually lead to someone overpaying for him in free agency and asking him to play a larger role that suits his game which leads to dissatisfaction from the new team and a sell low trade where he reclaims his game in a role more suited for him.
