Dallas falls out of the playoffs and finishes 12th, wins the lottery giving the sharks the 1st and 2nd pick. Pick Schaefer and misa. Win cup.Just lean into the whole thing:
Eklund - Celebrini - Musty
Zetterlund - Smith - Haltunnen
Chernyshov - Misa - Wennberg
Graf - Cardwell - Kovalenko
Walman - Muhk
Dickinson - Cagnoni
Wallenius - Thrun
Askarov
Askarov with a different helmet
THE FUTURE IS NOW
EDIT: forgot Toffoli, he can play defense instead of Thrun
Thrun being in the press box in a suit should cover that, no?We need at least 1 heart throb sir.

Dude he's got a kid, you can't just bench him willy nilly. Keep him and have him legally adopt the rest of the team. Now you've got a hockey team and a movie that practically writes itselfSwap Thrun for Pohlkamp and just bench Wennberg for Toffoli.
Nice defensive play, chase of the puck, and apple for Halttunen
Can anyone tell who the player he beat to the puck was (pretty sure it's the same guy whose shot Halttunen blocked). Mostly curious.I feel like Halttunen needs to have that playing on his phone in a loop to show him how to succeed in the NHL. If he can play with that effort + his shot, he could be really good.
He’s still getting paid. He’ll be fine.Dude he's got a kid, you can't just bench him willy nilly. Keep him and have him legally adopt the rest of the team. Now you've got a hockey team and a movie that practically writes itself
Nice write-up for Svoboda, chosen as a standout in the Beanpot tourney (2 games):

Really hope he pans out as a good 4C.
These heroics eventually lead to someone overpaying for him in free agency and asking him to play a larger role that suits his game which leads to dissatisfaction from the new team and a sell low trade where he reclaims his game in a role more suited for him. He’s starting to feel like that guy that Stanley Cup teams all have — the 4th liner who plays his role amazingly well and then goes out and scores an OT goal in a game 7.
