Patients is a virtue but can’t wait till lgor can start his return. JMO but an early prediction says he will be a beast out there. He is a total package that has played KHL and will be exciting to see him Misa and Parekh lightning it up.

Sam Dickinson to me is an easy call -- a big, fast, smart defender who does literally everything well. His floor is so high, I don't see any way of him not becoming at least an effective 3rd pairing NHLer and his ceiling is as a top pairing all-situations stud.

Chernyshov would be next for me, guys with elite compete levels almost always have better development curves, and his combination of size/physicality, speed and hands is actually quite rare. At the very least he'll be a stud 3rd liner, but it's more likely he's a force in the San Jose top 6 for years to come.

#3 to me would be very close between Mukhamadullin (I'm not sure if we consider him an NHLer after just a handful of games) and Musty -- another terrific competitor with the puck talent to play a top 6 role but the mentality to also succeed in a bottom 6.

Thanks for the insights! Which less heralded prospect do you think will have a long NHL career. Thinking about guys drafted outside the top two rounds including, but not limited to: Misskey, Roberts, Pohlkamp, Cardwell, Cagnoni, Rimashevsky, Graf, Kirsch, Wetsch, Gushchin, Svoboda, etc.

I'd put Gushchin at the top of the upside of that group, but as far as a long career I'd say Wetsch because I feel his game and body really translate well to a bottom 6 role.
