Yes because 6 foot is small, forgot with you the only ones to make an impact at the NHL level have to be 6'10 or taller. Anything under there is no need to draft.

Buium is well below average size for a defenseman and is not a good skater. If he’s also worse than Dickinson offensively, there’s zero justification for preferring him as a prospect.

im just some guy on the internet with very low hockey knowledge discussing a highly variable/ill-defined outcome where even professional scouts more-often-than-not can't predict the future well.

at the draft --- which I even went to --- I am of course going to emotionally latch on to particular prospects simply because it's entertaining to do so. But also, I think it's a bit ridiculous to dunk on each-other or take too much pride in our "correct" predictions/preferences.
