Yes, Lund is a future 3RW if he hits his ceiling, more realistically a tweener fourth line winger. Expectations should never have been impact player, but he has a reasonable chance at being a useful depth piece.

I don't think that's likely. Lund has a very top-6 play style without the top-6 NHL talent.

I'd obviously rather sign him than have him walk for nothing, but he's not a real prospect.

He's more of a skill player than a bottom 6 winger. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he can carve out an NHL role.

lets not forget the 2022 draft where Grier ( maybe DW Jr ) felt the need to get bodies over the #11 pick ( Conner Geekie ) For 27 overall Bystad, Lund and Havlid. If they kept the pick and they might have someone that could play next season.
