Calm down. They are working with him daily to teach him what they need from him. He was a game time decision based on his progress. Clearly they decided he wasn’t ready. He will get there.Timmins not playing is a travesty IMHO. Why bother trading for him if you have no plans to use him?
And don't give me the 'learning systems' excuse. As a new D player to the team, you should be told, and able to execute simple D techniques. All it takes is good gap control, careful on the pinches, standard 2 on 1 positioning, head on a swivel, box out in front of the net etc.
From what I understand, he has played for Keefe before. He has also been partnered with Sandin, so no excuses for not inserting him into the lineup. Well, unless he was acquired with an existing injury.
This is what I would have expected from Babcock, given that Timmins was a Dubas acquisition.
