@Scandale du Jour . . . isolated on Galchenyuk there. Everything with him is about reacting after the fact. Yeah, he tries hard, but he's not actually doing anything to help the cycle. He's just waiting most of the time for Geno and Rust to do the work. Yes, he's 'trying', but he's not helping drive the play in the slightest.

Galchenyuk is stupid. Don't expect him to do anything but stupid things.

Mix in a couple high skill goals a year that make you go "why does this guy have to be so stupid" and you have his whole career.

Rust and all of his tunnel vision is twice the player Galchenyuk is.
Has he done anything that 'wow'd' people at all?
Sick moves or anything?

I know his goals weren't slick because I seen all whopping 4 of them.

Low hockey IQ as I've been saying since the day of the trade.

He has played like that all of his career. He won't change. He'll have stretches of luck and is talented enough to reach 50 points, but he is what he is... and what he is is not what we need.

I'd prefer kahun, but lets give them a few more shifts...

Isolate on Galchenyuk. It's easy to see why he's such a poor fit but looks like he's trying so hard . . .

He's pretty good as the first guy in, turning pucks over, but as soon as we have possession he seems unsure where he's meant to go.
