It's 2-1...but Sully better be slapping the shit out of half this team during intermission.

G... that shift was 100% circles and no stop/start. Come on, big guy. Gotta be better.

That was the 'last shift of the period, let's cheat to try to force something' shift.

BTW, it's another worry of Galchenyuk on the LW. He's trying, as everyone acknowledges. But, he's always reacting to the play, which means he contributes next to nothing in transition and the offensive zone. Ergo, as always has been the case, Geno cheats. Sometimes just the tiniest bit, but he does it to 'make up' for guys, and if he isn't god mode on a particular night, it's bad. It's why I loved Jake and even McCann on the LW. And, truth be told, it's why I think Kahun ends up there sooner rather than later. Sully learned his lesson last year.

I missed most of this period for a work call...and it looks like I should be happy with that fact....we can’t be doing this against a team with piss poor goaltending...I mean 15 shots and only one gets by Dell is like Mike Smith level goaltending at PPG Arena

I don't see how that goal was anybody but Petts' fault.

Probably Murray's too.

Marino a little arrogant there. Hideous.

A DEFLATING goal.

Marino may have been a little arrogant there, but he got the puck to Pets. Pets had time and space and promptly turned it right over. Not sure how that's on Marino primarily.

I don't think he won one tonight, and that is a very good observation...however, half of the faceoffs he lost because of the secondary effort....

He's actually 4-7, but I suspect Malkin's faceoff percentage being better without Galchenyuk than with supports your point about secondary effort.
