Some will see this as a big step, some will see it as a small step and some are not gonna care, but I really hope Warsofsky learned an important lesson from this tournament. He will not get the same caliber of a roster next season, but I hope he saw enough to build a working culture.
This summer is so important for the management to start building something that will carry for a lot of years. I don't mean just system or new players, just the mentality that this team will win a championship one day. If not today, then tomorrow. The grind never ends.
It's just super important for the players that come here to understand that San Jose deserves a Stanley Cup. So many years of being close was not a miracle, it was build with hard work, talent and maintained for a lot of years.
