Sharks at IIHF Worlds 2025

Canada just doesn't care about these tournies anymore. It's like they feel obligated to be there and would rather be at home enjoying the offseason. Just going through the motions. Even the blowouts they were winning it didn't feel like they were giving max effort. These games have been pretty boring, No intensity. Feels like games you would see in training camp.

Sure, why not. Go any other team than Sweden, really. But for tomorrow, it's USA.

In last years WJC finals my (Finnish) partner decided to cheer for Sweden (!!) while I rooted for the US. We made a friendly bet on the game which I obviously won. I suppose it's a rematch of sorts.
Another bet won. Some people never learn. :naughty:

When the US was playing poorly, I thought Warsofsky was a terrible coach who was blowing it?

They're in the finals now, but that's all the players right?

Pinto having himself a hell of a tournament.

Edit: the Smith assist was a heads up play to put a simple shot on net because his teammate was poorly marked. Cutter cleans up the second rebound on a shot Markstrom wants back. Still, good, basic play by Smith.
