Sharks at IIHF Worlds 2025

It’s going to be really fun watching Macklin / Will / Eklund all go head to head with each other.

Macklin is going to be a beast.
I haven't watched the WC seriously since the Owen Power year, but I'll catch all these guys' games. It'll be fun to see what kind of linemates click with them for future reference. I remember watching Gabe Vilardi in 2021 and thinking even though he wasn't putting up points that he would be an absolutely perfect linemate for Hertl (and I stand by that).

Team Sweden released the following statement:

My translation:
"During the third period of the game between Sweden and Czechia in Brno on Saturday night, William Eklund suffered skate cut on his wrist. After initial examination by team doctor, William was taken to the hospital. William will undergo further exams and treatment during the coming days. It is too early to tell if the injury will prevent him to take part in the World Championships "

Smith ended the game with an assist. Celebrini is the 1C for Canada’s first exhibition game. They already got Celebrini forming that chemistry with Martone…

It's interesting that of the 8 goalies left (I'm assuming St Louis wins tonight), Half are from Canada.

Binnington, Hill, Skinner (or Pickard) and Thompson.

No wonder we got freakin' Carter George there.

Blackwood should definitely go, especially if he wants any chance at making the Olympic roster
