Player Discussion Shane Pinto (C) - PART 2

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.

Green says Pinto won't play tonight but not ruled out for Saturday in Florida.
He better not be toying with my emotions!!!

You know what, Forsberg has been playing well, and we will need both he and Ullmark on top of their games to get into the post season. I am OK with him playing and would expect (hope?) that with a bit of a rest, the D game will tighten up tonight.

Forsberg confirmed
Vasi looks like he can do the 2 games and not Linus??
Weird

Ullmark cants get injured again for the 4 nations! Swedes have a lot of pride!

D wasn’t terrible last game. Well relative to lightning d. Both were meh

At 2-1 lightning gave us a breakaway and a 2 on 1. At 2-2 they gave us a 2 on 1. And at 3-2 they gave us a completely wide open net. They’re leaky as f***

I don't care about Tbay's defensive play, but ours was a step back of our recent play. It happens, especially on a back to back with travel, not to mention playing short Pinto most of the game. Tbay had more jump in their step most of the game. We can be better than we were and I expect us to be better tonight.

I expect a response from the Sens tonight in the form of a faster start and more pressure on the forecheck. Whether or not we get that? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT!

Started slow. Didn’t think we were that bad after.

Can't believe both Pinto and Norris are still out this week. Really wish Green would stop toying around with fans' emotions and be straight up about the severity of these injuries. He made it sound like Pinto was not out for long and two weeks later he's still unable to practice? You never know if any player will be out a few days or a few weeks with this coach. I'm getting sick of the lack of transparency.

I just don’t get how it gives them any competitive advantage either. It’s just being difficult for the sake of it.

Yeah like I understand being vague about the nature of the injury itself, but to lie about the length of time a player will be out is unfair to the fanbase.

The trade deadline is coming and you don't want to seem more desperate than you have to.

Great, so you're ok with telling the fanbase a player will be out "a few games" and then that player is out for 2-3 weeks?

This has been happening all season long. Maybe if it was just near the TDL I'd understand, but the fans deserve some transparency from the team when it comes to injuries.

Good sports organizations work in a cone of silence regarding injuries, and have no leaks.

The fans don't know what's up, who cares. It's for competitive advantage.

Do you want to go back to the Dorion clown show where he leaked everything to Garrioch?
