I at least think it's an interesting conversation if Kovacevic keeps up his play with Siegs. With Nemec and Casey waiting in the wings, I definitely think you can make the case that moving forward Kovacevic's skill set is far more needed than Dougie's....but I think that may be putting the cart before the horse.

Monty has been a stud for a couple years.

He's been decent for a couple of years. I wouldn't say a stud. That gets thrown around too much.

I think that's jocking him because he plays on a really bad team. Sharks fans say the same about Blackwood and Ducks fans are still convinced Gibson is still borderline elite lol.

To be fair, I think Montembeault probably has better numbers the last couple of years than those other guys.
