Turns out Seth Jones was built for the playoffs. Something we never would have known had he stayed rotting in Chicago. It’s interesting how many experts think they are smarter than Bill Zito.

The Panthers system takes about a year to learn I fully expect him to get even better next year. He was asked to step in with no team chemistry and play the most minutes per night, and hes done a great job given the situation.

Jones wasn't that bad in Chicago, he just had bouts of frustration and lacksadasical play as his prime rotted away on tank teams. A lot of Hawks fans had/have an irrational hatred of the guy.

I don't know about here but on Twitter they made it sound like hes wasn't an NHL caliber dman and the Blackhawks would suddenly win the Cup now that his grim reaper like presence was gone.

Just to put this goal in perspective by the way, it was the game winning goal in Game 7 for the Flames(they won 3-2), thus stopping the Oilers streak of 2 consecutive cups

That's on the goalie (Fuhr) just as much if not more. Calgary player coming right at the Edmonton player from the other side behind the net. Goalie needs to be back at his goal line, in the net there. Also not skate back like a snail in a game 7.
All in all, horrible way to lose.
