Bad team effort. McDrai good when together. Hyman with heart and hustle. No line otherwise had much going. Good for Nuge to get a goal. Arvy and Podz fought it unusually for their standards so far. Janmark might need to sit one out, or Perry if he's nursing an injury. D core should probably feature less Joshes (did he see the ice in the second and third), but he was just one of many poor performances. Skinner probably wants a couple back.

That better have been fatigue. Normally I would shred the team for that, but I can’t help but wonder if this is when the gas ran out with the travel and volume of games. We got outworked again badly in the third again, and I feel like that’s fatigue and I would almost never issue that excuse.

Having said that - know who finds a way to not float into games against bad teams even when tired? Vegas. Games like this and games like the Ducks a week ago and games like we played in Montreal and Columbus this year are why we never win the division if anyone is wondering. Our disrespect for opponents that we deem not worthy of our presence ultimately just costs us.

Also decided Josh Brown needed to take a shift with the top line after the 3-1 goal for some reason. Immediately killed the play and the Pens come back and score.

I love the clean look of the board and with less features loads immediately, no funky problems the other was having. I'd take less features for a board that runs flawlessly. The last few mths of the last build was pretty glitzing.

Nothing much to say about the game. Oilers outplayed Pens for two periods, had more HDSC, more shots, more everything but we got goalied again.

Skinner couldn't keep us in it for one period. Nedz kept the Pens in it for final two periods where we were just dominating. He made 10 stops of a quality that we just didn't get.

Team can't play perfect 60 every night. But this is what happens when they don't.

Still need a goalie.

It's a simple lesson - your goaltender isn't good enough to keep you in it for 10 minutes like every goaltender in the league does against you.
