"Yes, and with that privilege people can help you and many others with less crops, land, water and other resources put into the production of said product, and less environmental damage caused like overgrazing, deforestation, subsequent erosion, and desertification for example."

People attack vegans because they can't deal with the consciousness of their own decisions. Therefore they attack vegans and veganism as a whole to try to make it look like vegans are somehow the ones doing something wrong.

Freud explained it well with reaction formation, which you'll often see on full display here in The Lounge.

No; they just make fun of them because they are misguided and silly. To call it an 'attack' just highlights a preciousness, over-sensitiveness and penchant for the dramatic.

Vegans don't matter simply by virtue of being vegans, but they seem to think they do.

This.

It's impossible to prove one life is more valuable than the next. Period. Animals and humans are all equals.

Nothing wrong with veganism, but this notion is just silly. Humans are definitely superior to animals.

Not saying it's a fair practice, but humans have literally gathered the biggest beasts of the world and caged them up for display and amusement.

So intelligence makes one superior?

You'd agree then that I'm superior to humans who are less intelligent than me and I can justify exploiting, torturing and killing them?

Zen fascists will control you
100% natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face

Now it is 1984
Knock-knock at your front door
It's the suede/denim secret police
They have come for your uncool niece

Come quietly to the camp
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don't you worry, it's only a shower
For your clothes here's a pretty flower.

DIE on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will croak, you little clown
When you mess with President Brown
When you mess with President Brown
