0-0 at HF. Hopefully Pulisic has something left in the tank and can come on in the 2nd half, Milan needs some creativity in the attack. They've been inept going forward.

Finally at 70 mins Pulisic comes on, replacing Loftus-Cheek, who was anonymous.

No change with that sub, so Milan should try a different approach. Get Tammy Abraham in there, Juve has had it too easy so far in defence, with little physical challenge in there. Play more direct with urgency.

Weah about to come on for Juve.

Somewhere around the world
I am back from Italy. I loved Rome and Florence, Torino.... not so much. It's an industrial city and the food sucks, except for the pizza place across the street from my AirBnb. I will go back to watch another game, but I am not staying for more than two days.

It's still rather early in the seaso, but Atalanta are playing like future champions.

Of course a lot can change before the end of season, e.g if Ederson departs for Man City in January or other important players leave.

Razvan Marin opens the scoring from a penalty kick in the relegation scrap between Genoa and Cagliari. It's Vieira first match in charge, and he keeps Balotelli on the bench so far (they worked together with great results at Nice). The penalty was very iffy in my opinion, the defending player jumped for a header with his hands in the air, the ball came literally from 20 cm away and hit half his hand, half his shirt.

Genoa get an equalizer four minutes later, after another refereeing mistake, this time it was the lineswoman who missed an offensive foul happening right in front of her, and from the resulting throw in Frendrup puts it in after Cagliari's defense was caught sleeping.

Should Nagelsmann give Bisseck a look or is he still all-tools-no-toolbox?
I think you can do better at the moment, don't think he should even start for Inter, but it's true he's got room to improve, it usually takes these super tall defenders a while to get their skills together.

That's kinda what I figured. IIRC he was the first from his age group to play for his club's senior team, but he made Armel Bella Kotchap look like a savvy vet. So seeing him starting so much for Inter made me wonder if things had finally started to click or if they were just getting away with his rawness.

I'd be content with our quartet if Chabot just replaced Koch or Thiaw got back to his best...as long as Tah doesn't go back to his pre-Alonso inconsistency once he moves in the summer & age doesn't catch up to Rüdi before the WM...but Koch as that 4th CB just feels like such a step down from those first 3.
