Fonseca taking a massive gamble leaving both Leao and Theo in the bench.
First half it was paying off. Now it’s not. 2 quick goals by Lazio to go up 2-1. Both goals the same as last weeks. Low crosses to players not marked.

Now he makes a quadruple sub, including Theo and Leao. And Leao scores imediatly to tie it.

Yeah, it was a mixed bag with those decisions. Okafor was nothing, but Tammy Abraham showed some good glimpses on that Leao goal.

Tomori isn't really a leader to organize a defence. Maybe Pavlovic will do that with time. I suppose Milan are satisfied with a draw from this match.

They are not a functional team yet.

At the BuLi2 level Thiaw had that effect on Schalke…part of what made him such an impressive teenager. Hopefully he can stay healthy & take over that role for Milan this season.

Then and there
The left flank duo strikes immediately after 1 minute against bottom team Venezia. Pretty pass by Rafael Leao finished by Theo Hernandez.

And Gabbia heads in 2-0 from Pulisic corner after 17 mins. Milan crowded the 6-yard box really well.

3-0 already, Pulisic from the spot after Tammy Abraham was brought down by the keeper.

This is sad for Venezia, another PK and Abraham makes it 4-0 in less than half an hour.

Then and there
Mota outjumped his opponent and headed Monza into 1-0 lead over Inter, with about 10 mins left.

Couldn't hold on to the lead, as Dumfries scores from the back post after his typical forward run.

Parma is such a frustrating team. They've led every single game this season and only won once. They were up 2-0 at half time at home against Udinese and managed to lose 2-3. Very young team and it shows. My countrymen Man and Mihaila each with an assist.

De Rossi got sacked.. I thought he was going to begin one of those great coaching runs, runs we just don't see anymore. What the hell happened?

RIP. Schillagi certainly peaked at the right season, getting to star at home WC. That stare of his was one of a kind.
Toto Schillaci will be one of those names I will never forget. 1990 was the first World Cup I watched essentially in its entirety (and of course it turned out quite magically) and it was easy back then to also cheer for Italy. Tough to see him die that young.
