Truly great teams have their players all pulling in the same direction. For the Leafs, even when they win games it comes with some individual heroics to overcome some massive flaws. Poor goaltending and poor defense with poor depth scoring are all huge concerns that could pop up in any game

You just said it yourself, there shouldn't be any reasons for this game to be tied. They have always play down to their opponents that's what they have in their DNA.

I don't like the habits these kinds of games may reinforce. These two teams are not even in the same league when it comes to talent and execution. Heck, it's one of the few teams where the Leafs actually have a coaching advantage. Waiting for your talent to simply take over should not be the strategy.
