We’re probably going to lose Giroux unless he takes a discount or we find a way to dump Perron’s contract.

How is it a given that Norris is gone because Greig signed an extension? The best thing about this Greig extension is that Norris will be gone in the off season.
Why are you thinking that will happen. The best thing about this Greig extension is that Norris will be gone in the off season.
Garrioch alluded to it in his article saying we could see him play centre down the road since the Sens want to get Norris’ money off the books. And has mentioned numerous times we are trying to trade Norris. How is it a given that Norris is gone because Greig signed an extension?
The other night, Greig seemed to say he's more comfortable playing wing, I think it was during an intermission interview after he extended, but I'm not 100% sure.Garrioch alluded to it in his article saying we could see him play centre down the road since the Sens want to get Norris’ money off the books. I personally don’t understand the logic but it could be what the team is thinking, who knows. Greig isn’t particularly good at faceoffs and hasn’t played centre all year so I’d hope they have a better contingency plan but I’m not sure.
Idk, in an interview when he signed I’m pretty sure he said he’s getting more comfortable at wing and he’s played centre his whole life so he’s comfortable there. Idk where that one was though, might’ve been a different one. Or it’s the same one but I didn’t interpret it as him preferring the wing, moreso saying he’s more comfortable at wing than he used to be.The other night, Greig seemed to say he's more comfortable playing wing, I think it was during an intermission interview after he extended, but I'm not 100% sure.
Possible I missheard him, I couldn't find it to go back and give it a second ListenIdk, in an interview when he signed I’m pretty sure he said he’s getting more comfortable at wing and he’s played centre his whole life so he’s comfortable there. Too much. I have no idea what Greig is. All I know is that right now he’s not a 3.25M player.
I would’ve given him 1 or 2 years. He needs to show more.
A 4 year deal should’ve come with a lower price tag.
I was just saying he is not paid like a no1 going forward thats allStutzle is the #1 center though, not Norris

I don't know that it is a given, however, my rationale is that $7.95M for a guy that will be the 3rd best center on this team is to much and since I've been told often that Norris on the wing doesn't work, I'm guessing he will be gone. Why are you thinking that will happen.
I was about to say "no" but after thinking a bit we need some dominating top 6 forwards who can carry the puck, make plays and score goals.I'm not sure how you plan/hope to make the playoffs with a forward group of Stutzle-Tkachuk-Batherson-Norris-Pinto-Greig. That's very mediocre. We'll need to inject skill
