Sens possible original six sweep

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

“Linus Ullmark could become the first NHL goalie to face all Original Six teams in successful order since 1971”

“AN ORIGINAL SIX RUN

The Senators will close out a stretch of facing all the Original Six teams in seven games. The only team on this list that wasn’t one is Philly.

March 5 @ Chicago: 4-3 OT win

March 8 vs N.Y. Rangers: 4-3 OT win

March 2 vs. Detroit: 2-1 win

March 11 @ Philadelphia: 5-2 win

March 13 vs. Boston: 6-3 win

March 15 @ Toronto: 4-2 win

March 18 @ Montreal: TBD”

Is it a sweep if we put it this way:

February 22 vs Montreal: 5-2 loss, olé'd out of their own building.

March 5 @ Chicago: 4-3 OT win

March 8 vs N.Y. Rangers: 4-3 OT win

March 2 vs. Detroit: 2-1 win

March 11 @ Philadelphia: 5-2 win

March 13 vs. Boston: 6-3 win

March 15 @ Toronto: 4-2 win

"All original six teams in successive order except for the one team that wasn't original six so it's actually not that!"

I’m glad I wasn’t going crazy thinking this. Philly being in the middle of the schedule makes it meaningless. There’s probably a goalie every year who non-consecutively beats all the O6 teams.

It's more of a stat for Ullmark since he didn't play in the Philly game and will be facing the 6 O6 team consecutively. Still lame nonetheless.
