Travis Green said it right, felt like a playoff game. I like the guy, I hope he gets his due success.

The boys are playing very well. This is wonderful to see. We have waited so long.

Hopefully it continues. We need Zub and Perron back in a big way to keep the momentum going.

If Amadio is out, Reinhardt is easy choice to insert. I have always been impressed with his play and plays similar style to Amadio.

I think my favorite thing from this recent win streak is seeing Mike Amadio turn it on. That whole third line has been huge money for us lately with Pinto being easily our best player(outside Ullmark) during this winning streak.

We hit 4 posts that I saw, and there was that thrown stick save on Gaudette. Merilainen make a couple good saves but can't think of any goals he robbed them off. Chabot pulled one off the line though.

I don't think we played a perfect game or anything, but we did a lot of good things,
We've played rougher. The 3rd period hold the lead play has been rough for a couple but we ended up on the right side of them

I thought we missed 2,3,4 really good chances to take a 2 goal lead. HDCA is close but I think it doesn't tell the story

Sens only had 4 players over 50 CF%

On another note. When Amadio went down they moved Gregor up and Ostapchuk and Gaudette saw very little after that.
If Amadio can't go which I think is likely .. I would give strong consideration to getting Ostapchuk more ice.. with at least a look in Amadio's spot
Gaudette can play C on the 4th

This was a pretty close match. We’d get up a goal & then Vancouver would come right back with a goal and tie things up.

Pinto & Sanderson had strong games. Nice to see Sanderson back in the groove.

Leevi looked OK. Didn’t let in any softies at least. Nice that he got the win.

I can’t complain about this win. We are on a Western Conference road trip with our backup in nets and got the W.

Either way, I’d have been “happy” with 4 wins on this road trip.

Starting out 3-0 is unbelievable. Gives a lot of runway.

... and the team got through a tough road back to back across time zones. It will basically be Ullmark in nets now, and with how he is playing they have a shot at a point in any game.

Sens with another gutsy road win, while they bent they didn't break & didn't quit as we saw in the past, they kept fighting back. Most of these wins this yr has come from decent goaltending from Ullmark. Speaking of goaltending I thought Merilainen played well enough to keep the team in the game & eventually win it, good for him. Goaltending needs to be good for this team to be successful.

Still continue to be impressed with the rookie tandem of Kleven & JBD who continue to play a solid defensive game. These two should only get better, Kleven the muscle who wins board battles & JBD making some good safe plays. Nice to see Norris chugging along after losing most of two yrs, it seems his shoulder has healed & he is getting back to form, same for Pinto. These two are really starting to show us what they are capable of & are going to contribute to a successful team. As this team matures it seems to be finally coming together.

Agreed on obstachuk. He's a hound out there and has some tools. Defo like to see him get some opportunities

I looked that one up, and for players that take regular faceoffs he is pretty well at the top. There is a good whack of them around 60%. The top 9 in this list have 25 or less faceoffs taken.

Not really.
Sarcasm

Sarcasm refers to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say, especially in order to insult someone, or to show irritation, or just to be funny. For example, saying "they're really on top of things" to describe a group of people who are very disorganized is using sarcasm. Most often, sarcasm is biting, and intended to cause pain. Irony can also refer to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say; the "they're really on top of things" statement about the very disorganized group of people can also be described as an ironic statement. But irony can also refer to a situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected; for example, it is ironic if someone who was raised by professional musicians but who wanted a very different kind of life then fell in love with and married a professional musician.

Problem is, it doesn’t necessarily work in text.

I am thrilled with Pinto. There is a fire in his game that we haven't seen this season. I honestly think he's capable of a 30 goal 30 assist season. He'll do it eventually.

I thought Sandy was really good. The talking heads were saying Quinn Hughes dominating the game on the Canucks side, probably lit a fire under Jake. He has to believe that he's just as good as Quinn and can do the same things. That's the mentality that he should have.

Strangely, I didn't think Jensen was that good. He and Chabot were getting overwhelmed by the forecheck. Jensen has been so good all season but it seemed like he was getting spun around and swallowed up. In the 3rd, they adjusted by lobbing the puck out instead trying the break out.

My last criticism is the PP zone entry. Why are the Sens so bad at it? If I was Green, I would have the team spend all day watching video of how the best teams in history enter the offensive zone.

A lot of the missed entries are execution of that pass to the left boards.. the winger there fumbles the puck or makes a blind pass back to the point giving it away. The puck management still suffers from bad decisions.

Nah, Jensen and Chabot were fine. It was Kleven and JBD who kinda struggled. And Hamonic was his usual self. Can't wait for Zub to come back.

And if it goes to the right side of the entries, it goes to Norris. Last guy on the 1st PP you want trying to execute that next pass.

1st powerplay if very cold currently. Poor entries, and a bit static. The one PP where they snapped it around for 2 minutes straight with a bunch of good looks was unreal though.

Norris has trouble handling, he doesn't shoot enough making questionable puck management decisions. I would not mind replacing him with Pinto on PP1
