The big worry is around Christmas and New Years on a long road trip this team would flounder.

It has played poorly against Calgary and now Vancouver but has come out with 4/4 points and 6/6 so far.

Move on but the team needs to understand it needs to start playing like it did in the first 5 games or in the games before they went to Calgary & Vancouver.

I missed the second period and most of the third, how was Merilainen? I need a quick synopsis because I didn't really like the end of first period!

I am so happy they gave Ullmark the game off this was going to be a bloodbath no matter what. Preserving his hot streak will save his best for Edmonton.

Is West Coast trips have been Killers to us in the standings but hopefully we can continue the good play and really make it our turning point of the season. We've already churned this season around, but these teams are tough to play against and always a great measuring stick for where our team is at.

He was OK; not great like Ullmark. Ullmark seems to have luck on his side; probably because of experience and skill.

I don't really blame him on any of the goals, but I don't think he stood out either.
That's a fair assessment. He obviously needs to play a lot more games before he's ready. I'm not sure if he's going to need another season in the AHL or not. Sample size is just too small. Anyways, that's another conversation for another time. Just glad he got his first win and we got two points.

Exactly. He did fine and some of those goals are not being stopped by anyone. Did NOT like the holding on to the puck behind the net with Canucks in the zone - this is not Bellevile, he is going to get burned with that.
