Yep weird
When I had the option, to choose, I had selected dark mode, was always light mode, tried all the options, was always light mode.
Now it’s back to default only option again.
I guess not totally surprised, as othered on the mains were seeing dark and others couldn’t.

But from reading the main, doesn’t sound like they want to modify the defaults much if another update coming or something.
Good news, the option to choose your style is back.
Bad news, the only option is the default light mode...

1992, I am working at CAE (Canadian Aviation Electronics). They make flight simulators. A world leader.

1992, they sell them something like 25 simulators.. About 20 Million a pop (At that time! probably ~ 50 M in today's market).

In 1994.. we sell 2..

At the industry show of 1994, China has its own flight simulator.

I walked in on a test once, 3 Chinese guys jumped right on me.. A friend who was supervising the test had to come and tell them; I was okay!!!! f***, I died laughing that day.

I need your thought, I think to upgrade my tv. I curentely have a LG C9 65 inch

Never had a Sony , apparentely they have the best upscaling and processor. I was thinking the Sony BRAVIA 7 75 inch

I sit to 10ft. Also, now tv it s on stand . Would it be better to mount to the wall. Thanks guys

I can’t comment on the Sony, but the LG C9 is an excellent OLED tv, why don’t you like it.

If anyone made tables for tracking players (prospects or other things), the update broke the tables. If you want to fix them remove the =collapse at the top and the table should mostly fix itself

I bought the 85" model of this last year and am very happy with it. Works so much better than my LG CX in the living room and was priced well for how it reviews. Almost went for the model above, but didn't seem like enough increased performance to justify it. My brother bought the next model down and was also happy with it, but I can't recall the model number. Whatever you do, don't buy an LED without Local Dimming, if you can afford it. It makes a huge difference. The lowest end Sony's won't have it and my Grandma in law had bought a 75" that I noticed it straight away.

I bought a stand like this because it then allowed me to pivot the TV for better viewing angles depending where I am sitting in the room. The action on it is super smooth.

And set it on a stand like this. The height puts my eyes almost in the center of the screen height wise, which is ideal.

Wall mounting an 85" could have been done, but I much prefer this solution for my use case.

Oled's are amazing, but I find my LG CX is a bit of a reflection magnet and struggles in the bright living room. Moving it downstairs to my blacked out theatre room where my projector is was a game changer for it. I'd kind of soured on it in my living room which led to the purchase referenced above, but that was also to do with wanting a bigger size. Not sure about the new OLED's, but I understand they handle bright rooms better than my now aging CX.

I just got a new bulb for my projector in the theatre room, over boxing week, much better now. (More Brightness is back)
My Cx is on the wall, which can pivot left or right, or up down. That stand you got looks good though.

Fyi
In dark mode, I missed your links totally at first in blue, luckily you mentioned the links.

For movie and sport in 4K , this is amazing. But I just watch IPTV content, most of it in sdr. Picture is grainy a little bit. Maybe the Sony would not be better. This is I want to know. Do you know if the Nvidia shield pro would help
