Barometric pressure in Timmins, ON ~ 102 pa
Barometric pressure in Val D'Or, QC ~ 101.9

Barometric pressure in Ottawa ~ 101.2 pa

Barometric pressure in Boston ~ 99.8 pa

So cold artic air is being pushed from Timmins (presently at -21 C) down to us and onto Boston. Warner Caribbean air cannot climb up to get us, a sit would be traveling against the pressure gradient!

It is why the 33 Km/hr with gusts up to 50 KM/hr and damn cold.


We need:
Ottawa 101.3
Boston 101.5 and higher
Timmins and Val D'or to be at 101.1 and lower

I f***ing hate winter.

If money isn't an issue, then I would go high end big tv. Like, 8k with really high refresh rate. Curved screen. They're in the thousands though.

That way it is good with gaming and can still be more versatile.

Prefers 27”, but willing to go to 32” max.
The best monitor is the way to go, not TV.
 
No other site makes me feel like the past 20 years just haven't even happened... but I'm kidding myself, even 20 years ago it didn't take sites half a day to update and they didn't lose all their settings when they did.

Also if anyone knows the way back to dark mode please help a brother out

The themes (like dark mode) broke with the update, they are working on it, we should get something back soon. That said, default for me seems to be a dark mode type with black background and white text. Too much blue for my liking though.
 
The ever ubiquitous dark mode lately. I dont know how people can like that. My white background is back though whew. So much change lately. Yep, that's the major change this year.

Yeah, they must be leaf fans.

It's going to take me 10 years to get used to the new look, and just then they will change the look again.

I’m having a hard time with the white background, can’t wait for dark mode to work for me again.
I’m opposite, don’t know how people like white mode.

I like the white background. I tried the dark for several days, and then switched back. The dark background creates more eye fatigue. At least that’s my theory.

Dark mode reminds me of the old DOS world before MS Windows was around 😊 Don’t think I could read a book of white print on black paper either. But I know more and more people are feeling as you do lately. Nice to have the choice, hopefully it returns for you.

Huh, we seem to be back to light mode only...

Not complaining as I prefer light mode, but this flipping back and forth is a bit frustrating.

That's weird, It started on a gross light mode for me (the default style) then flipped to a dark mode that I really didn't like either, (too much blue) and now it's flipped back to a light mode that looks like it did before the upgrade.

When I was in dark mode, I could go to the settings and select Dark mode, light mode or system, but no matter what option I chose it was always the same dark mode... now that option to choose which mode it won't give me is gone, not sure if that's progress or not...

Yep weird
When I had the option, to choose, I had selected dark mode, was always light mode, tried all the options, was always light mode.
Now it’s back to default only option again.
I guess not totally surprised, as othered on the mains were seeing dark and others couldn’t.

But from reading the main, doesn’t sound like they want to modify the defaults much if another update coming or something.
