Two homes over, a neighbour decided to repave his driveway (Joined, to be fair with the neighbour one door over). He wanted a wider driveway, so he had them pave a good 3 feet onto the grass.

They are installing Fibre optic cable for Bell.. And are using horizontal drilling and using waterjet drilling for the access holes.

They marked us up.. 3 holes on my property, luckily below a pine tree (Luckily for them I trimmed it years ago, or they would have had zero access!!!).

On the neighbour 2 doors down.. Water drill dab smack in the driveway. At the edge where he expanded by 3 feet.

So now a hole, it will be filled and patched. The ground will settle, the patch will distort. Possibly sink, possibly get pulled off by the thaw/freeze cycle. Dab smack in his drive you!!!

Ohh f***, those that use interlock, or large slab driveways.

And ohh f*** to that neighbour in the next 2-4 years as his driveway disintegrates.

New Linkin Park album finally drops. New singer isn't as good as the OG, but is good enough. The music is still LP with similar screams/growls, but Mike Shinoda's lyrics and instrumentation carries the album

Always a tough change. I always feel like they should go with a new name when this happens. I tried hard to like it when Alice in Chains re-launched, but it's just not there. The magic is not there and it feels like a completely different unconnected thing to me.

Not that I am interested in Linkin Park, but I sure would love to visit a parallel universe where Bon Scott doesn't die and we get his superior voice on Back in Black.

At least he's possibly getting pulled off.

That was exactly what I thought it was going to be, which is why I kept switching back to Mad Men
