Lol, well, the slang of today always seems to pass over a large portion of the next generation. I have to be honest that I flagged bougie out of confusion and curiosity, and now I just find it grating as I attempt to say it out loud, so it's out of my vocabulary already. I have accepted my old man card and will go drink some black coffee and eat my 80% cocoa dark chocolate in peace now thank you.

Lol, as would I. I made the joke, but those 2 things don't actually go hand in hand for me at the same time. Coffee in the morning and I only eat the chocolate occasionally, but definitely appreciate the bland, cocoa heavy dark chocolate more than the sweet stuff, or the absolute garbage they pass off as chocolate in all the cheap kids candy, blech!

Speaking of chocolate. What do you guys think of purdys? Me and my gf kind of get it for each other on big occasions out of tradition, but I'm curious of other places in that price range that could potentially be even better?

Lol Purdy's isn't vegan. It's a regular chocolate shop with varieties of milk and dark chocolate (most of their dark chocolate has milk in it), and most of the Purdy's i've been to serve ice cream as well. They just have like 4 vegan options, 3 of which are yummy (the sea salt chocolate being the only one I'm not a fan of).

Purdy's is too rich with all the goo fillings imo, at least the ones I end up with always are. Some are good, but I prefer my chocolates infused with nuts and seeds for a drier experience over the overly sweet runny fillings.

As long as you don't like fruit in your chocolate. My gf brought home a chocolate bar that had cranberries in it and it was absolutely devestating
