Indeed.
This season hasn't been the perfection that was S1, but it's been damned entertaining television if you can look past some of the plot details and the awkwardly forced love angle.
That finale was definitely a curve ball.
[SPOIL]Didn't anticipate a bomb going off at all. I know a few of the Homeland thread regulars are pinning it on Saul and Galvez. Don't believe either of those angles. I think it's gotta be an inside job, but it'll be a character we haven't met yet.
Gonna be interesting seeing Brody and Carrie on the run, especially since S3 looks to be a battle between master and apprentice (ie Saul, head of the CIA, vs his protege on the run, Carrie).
Gotta assume Quinn is still going to be a player next season. I think he'll be Carrie and Brody's man on the inside, at least considering how he pretty clearly said Carrie and Brody are 'good guys,' how Brody isn't a threat, and how Carrie's the best intelligence officer he's ever worked with.
Wonder how involved Dana, Mike, and Brody's family are in S3. Gotta figure Mike reinvestigates Walker's death, and that Dana is going to continue pleading Brody and Carrie's innocence.[/SPOIL]
