It's a pre season game, the result doesn't mean anything, chances are Matthews won't even play

CountDown to Camp

Now that Labour Day has passed things will start ramping up towards the beginning of camp, the pre-season which begins September 22 and Opening Night in Montreal October 9th. Hopefully the thread can be used for discussion of the team going forward for the new season and leave the playoff...

We’ve seen the old guys in your list, although I haven’t seen much of Taney over the years.. I want to see if Cowan and Grebenkin show signs of being the real deal.

Wow, not holding back on the first preseason game. Top 3 lines, pretty much the NHL defense, Defacto Starting goalie and Murray who appears to be in good shape and ready to get a few periods in preseason.

What are the likely lineups?

I think the top 6 and top 4 are the only lines that we had during camp, the others are mix-matches.
