Pre-Game Talk: Sens @ Leafs | Be like a tree, and let the dead leafs drop. Let the winds of change carry you towards the light - Rumi

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
What is the alternative? having JBD and Matinpalo platooning all year? I can see Hamonic struggles at times but why dump on him when there is no better alternative? Would fans be happier if it was Matinpalo getting caved in playing 20+ minutes in the top Pairings each night instead of Hamonic?

Right Shot D depth was a big concern going into the season and I think that part of the team has held really well considering all the injuries the group has risen to the occasion and answered the bell for Ottawa. Not always pretty, but Hamonic has given heart and soul hockey every minute he’s played and that desperation is what Green needed from his team and it’s important the right veterans are there to provide it and play every game like it’s their last - and he plays decently. He makes mistakes but they are winning games and he’s battling his heart out

“I felt like there was a time in November/December where I just wasn't really feeling like myself,” Sanderson told Sportsnet.ca. “And, honestly, I wasn't really having fun with the game.

Weird. Playing with such a good steady d partner, I wonder why Sanderson was having such a miserable time playing hockey.

Definitely need to prioritize picking up a defenceman in free agency. Hope he's ok.
Didn't the same thing happen the last game? Maybe he's playing injured so they don't make him show up for the skate (here's hoping).

Ignore, saw after that Hamonic is in.

Zetterlund buried once again down on the 4th line. Green just can't fathom improving his lines while we're winning as if there's no room for improvement. Super annoying how some of these coaches only react when their team loses.

On a 5-game winning streak. I wouldn't change the line-up either. 3rd line's been amazing, Perron & Amadio have been stepping it up production wise, Amadio is so good on that 3rd line as a shutdown line (playing against the opponent's top line). Who are you moving down to make room for him? They can play him on PP2 to give him more ice time. If he's able to PK, that's another way to give him more minutes.

Hamonic will get at least one point tonight along with 5 blocks, however 2 of those blocks were from his own turnover.

His assist will be a legendary clapper from the point bouncing off the back glass with someone putting in the rebound.

Damn did you guys see that Cozens stat on HNIC? He’s 1st or 2nd in a bunch of stats for us

Hopefully someone clamps down on Domi early...like Harmonic, gets him out of the game so he doesn't injure anyone.
