GDT: Sens @ Leafs - 7pm - HNIC

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Huge game tonight. You know the Sens will be coming out hard! How do our guys react? Can they dictate the pace?

17 games for this team to get their shit together.

Nice to see the lineup changes. Those should not be as much of a story as they are... because they should have happened already.

Honestly, my expectations are low... so... I guess if they give another full 60 minute effort that might be higher than what I expect regardless of outcome... which is sad as fck.

Teams that bring a lot of energy are incredibly difficult for this team to deal with most of the time. Hopefully the line shuffling can help offset that problem tonight.
60 minute effort or they’ll be sorry.
So what you meant was that against teams that really try the Leafs have been found wanting

Just to level with you too I don't actually mind the Tampa matchup all that much. I've really liked how the team has figured out Vasi in the previous series they've played against him. But I really do think FLorida is on their way to winning the division unfortunately.

I would like to play Tampa too, with home ice so I can fly south for games three and four.

I also find it quite interesting and frustrating that no matter what it's only ever Nylander (team's best goalscorer this season) that gets 3rd line duties out of the core four
Nylander is the most complete offensive player we have. He can pass, he can shoot and he's an incredible skater. He probably doesn't mind not having to share carrying the puck with someone else and he's proven to be able to produce without a star linemate. They probably also want him also to get easier defensive assignments.
