GDT: SENS host the Blackhawks, Tuesday 7pm

So, lots of focus on Stu and Forsberg on the ot goal, but Pinto watched Stu get double teamed and got beat up ice by his man in Nazar,

It's meaningless game but no a great play by a guy that is supposed to be responsible

Button says the Senators sweep of the leafs this season means nothing. The playoffs are a completely different game.

Really praising the Leafs. Thinks avoiding Florida and Tamps is great for the leafs. The Leafs are positioned quite nicely to win this series against the Senators.

Says Florida beat up the Leafs last season.

He exxpects the Senators to play tough against the leafs in the playoffs.

We shall see.

Good:
Team defense was relentless. Back check relentless.

Kleven was everyone. Smart with the puck. And mean.

Crookshank. I’m becoming a bit of a fanboy but man the guy just regularly makes the best play.

Cousins looks ready.

Bad
Forsberg.

Sticking our tongue to celebrate goals

Play Forsberg Thursday as well. Let Ulli rest.

Rest Stu and Chabby.

This loss is on Forsberg and on Forsberg alone.
Well, ya.

I will say in the third it felt like we were playing for the tie rather than pushing to win, but we did more than enough to win that game with competent goaltending. Feel bad for Forsberg, seems like a good guy but he's so inconsistent

Avoiding the Florida teams is a huge break for Toronto.

This is the best possible scenario for the Leafs. Playing an inexperienced team with no true elite talent, a goaltender with a poor playoff track record, and the genuine possibility of no real road games.

If it goes more than 5 games Toronto have f***ed the dog pretty badly.

Excited to watch the “neutral” Sportsnet panel throughout this series. You just know Biz will be wearing a Leafs tie or suit.

Hamonic 22:12
Matinpalo 13:56

Probably answers the question we all don’t want to know the answer to.

Anyone in the playoffs should be happy that one of them will be knocked out.
