  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

You might as well just drive Zetterlund to the airport yourself if you want to keep burying him down the lineup with trash players like that.

Hopefully Green will push him up into the top-6 tonight considering how little he's played since last Thursday and will surely be fresher than most.
Isn't it up to the player to earn his ice time & to prove he deserves to move up in the lineup? I actually hope you're right, but it won't be easy to push the two vets Perron or Amadio down the lineup. They have both been playing well lately & it won't get easier for him when Cousins returns. My guess, is next season he could have more of an opportunity if some of these UFA guys are not re-signed.

Perron bad at 5v5 last night. He couldn’t really keep up. He’s shown to be useful on the PP, but at even strength, I don’t think he’s a top 6 player. He hasn’t been all year.

The Pinto line wasn’t good either.

Green kept them together going into yesterday because the combos had done well in the two previous games.

But that turned against Detroit, so you probably should do something different tonight.

Zetterlund has much more speed and jam than either of those guys.

Hope Ullmark isn't injured. He got peppered a lot last night and the Leevi call up is peculiar. Linus probably needs a rest anyways

Perron has a resume in this league & given his troubles for most of the season he is only now starting to play better. Didn't he score again last night? What is your definition of good? Do you expect them to score every game, maybe the coach had a specific role he wanted them to play last night, there is lots of information we don't get about how this team is coached. Pinto & Greig have been great this yr especially on the PK, I believe that line is put out there for defensive reasons to prevent being scored on against the other team's best lines. I doubt Green does anything different tonight. We'll see.

Hmm, I wonder if he earned more icetime.

Perron scored on the PP. I have no problem keeping him on PP2. His hands and patience are very useful there.

But a resume in this league, and his personal issues, as tough as they were, aren’t a reason to keep him on a specific line.

We got caved in last night and Ullmark saved the day. I certainly hope Green watched that and does something different.

I’d keep the Pinto line together. But Gaudette could use a playmaker, so he’d fit with Perron, while Cozens/Batherson could use a shooter, so Zetterlund should be tried with them.

I was thinking that too until I saw this:

Green LOVESSSS Greig. That's 2nd best TOI among any forward territory last 2 games. He won't be getting that type of ice-time on 4th line. But rather with Pinto. Amadio more likely to shift down just off of that.

Yep, I was thinking Grieg dropping to the 4th line has some merit, but he is playing all over, and in all big situations. Greens Swiis Army knife. Would be tough to drop him down. Ammo makes the most sense, he is playing very well with Pinto and Grieg though. Possibly Perron, another guy who has been picking it up of late.

Nice to have 10 legit forwards to fit into the top 9.

Highmore and Gaudette are a bit weak as 4th liners though. Was hoping Staios would add a solid 4th line guy at the deadline.
