They remember to put in details like this and then the triple deke is just stickhandle the puck three times to the high slot, stop and slapshot high glove.

About this game. I don't care if we lose as long as Karlsson gets a point.

The most ridiculous thing is that they're 13 year old house league players and they have play by play announcers and after every game they're on the front page of the newspaper.

Oh. And imagine you play for kanata...and you find out your coach grew up in nepean and played for nepean...so you stop showing up to practice and forfeit your games.

Nobody really seems to have a clue whats going on with Torres

According to Russo and McKenzie, since he was placed on non-roster status at seasons start, to avoid losing a roster position and having to spend the whole year at 22 players, his suspension never actually started and hes out all season.

According to San Jose local reporters, he's eligible to return this week.

So what is it?

I guess we'll find out when DeBoer goes to put him into a game, apparently he's still recovering from the surgery a bit -- last report I saw said he hadn't skated a full practice yet. But it seems like SJ thinks he's eligible.

I re-watched the Mighty Ducks movies last summer, my god were they horrendous. D2 was especially bad. You are the best team we have in the whole of the U.S.A = a bunch of peewee kids who haven't done anything in 3 years. Oh we're going to add the best players in the country to your team! A guy who can't stop, a figure skater who hasn't played before, a guy off the street, a cowboy and goalie who is great (benched) and an enforcer. Also Iceland ICELAND?!?!

I would have taken Gunnar Stahl first overall. That kid is the total package.

It is a movie for kids.

Of course when you watch it as an adult, you will find it be to be pretty bad.

One.

I'll never forget silfverbergs first game against New York. He was every where. He had me dreaming.

But then he just stuck to the perimeter.

I watch D2 once a year because it's awesome. Don Tibbles taking a puck in the face and then he clearly has a concussion when he tries to order a cheeseburger fries and a coke and then Mrs. Mckay declaring him okay is top notch. She could work for the NHL Dept. of Player Safety.

Also, Wolf Stansson is not to be ****ed with.

I'd rather see Boro sit.

Now it means that we'll probably have what, Karlsson-Methot and Ceci-Wiercioch as the top 4 again?
And Boro-Wideman as the bottom pair?

I think Karlsson's in for another 35 minute night. And that's only to the end of the 2nd period.

I noticed that we don't play b2b on the Cal trip this year. Hope they will have a strong showing this time.

I feel badly for Silf with his concussion issues - I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Hopefully he can come back strong next season and prove that this season was just a one-off.

Has there been any further discussion of the proposal to move Chiasson to defence? Seriously, if the guy wants to save his NHL career he should consider it. On paper he looks like a great candidate - tall, athletic, good skater, etc. He is a replacement level player at forward, but perhaps he could reinvent himself on the blueline. It's worth a shot IMO.

I can see him with his skills being useful as a defender.
Good along the boards, okay defensively, okay skater for his size. Plays simple as well (too simple on forward)

He'd be like Gryba, except with a bit more skill.

I didn't even know that was a discussion...
But if they did that, I'd expect it would be something tried in the off-season when they have a chance to really work on the subtleties of the position.

This is the first I've heard of that discussion...maybe he's a reverse Brent Burns?
